Description
OTC’s BMW Head Bolt Socket (No. 5940) makes short work of removing and installing cylinder head bolts on BMW M42 4-cylinder and M50 6-cylinder DOHC engines. This tool features an E12 external TORX socket on the end of an extension sized to reach these bolts without the need for additional extensions. It is equipped with a spring-loaded detent ball to hold the bolts in place, simplifying installation and removal. Use with a 1/2 inch ratchet, breaker bar, or torque wrench (not included).
